John Alfred Bitter passed away December 6th 2022 at the age of 67. He was born to Emile and Thelma Bitter in Metairie, Louisiana in August 31, 1955. John is preceded in death by his loving girlfriend Dianne Pellegrin, his parents Emile and Thelma Bitter. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his children, Rachel, Ethen and Kelsey Bitter. Sisters Faye Flores and Maryjane Simone, and Grandchild Briley Behrnes.

Marjorie Lou Hubbard, 93, of Covington LA passed away on December 7th , 2022. She was born in Walla Walla, Washington and was the only child of John Green and Ruth Southerland Langdon. Marjorie was a resident of Avanti Senior Living in Covington, LA at the time of her death. Prior to moving to Covington in 2014, she was a long-time resident of Myrtle Beach, SC. Marjorie was devoted to raising her six children and loving her many pets.
Her faith was very important to her and she shared it with everyone she met. She taught her children to trust in God and how to pray. She loved her children, Fred, John, Jane and Mary, adored her grandchildren, Kelly, Andrew, Fred, Theresa, Elizabeth, Melissa, Mathew and Michael, and treasured her great grandchildren, Tessa and Jack. Her happiest times were those spent surrounded by her family. She will be missed by all here as she is welcomed with loving arms into Heaven.
Like many in his generation, his education was interrupted by World War II and he served in the United States Army during the war. Upon his discharge from the Army in 1945 Mr. Bresnahan re-started M. H. Bresnahan & Sons, a painting and decorating contracting business owned by his father prior to his sudden death in 1945. He attended night school while working, earning a business degree from Northeastern University in 1949. This is the fee for the services the funeral home will provide during a graveside service. This is generally required if you will be needing any assistance from the staff for the service.
